what are tone indicators?
tone indicators are used to indicate if the person is joking,being serious etc. neurodivergent people have trouble conveying or understanding emotion and tone through written text,using tone indicators is really helpful for neurodivergent people to make it easier for them to read and convey, its also very helpful for people with anxiety.
indicators ::
/j = joking
/hj = half-joking
/ij = inside joke
/s = sarcasm
/srs = serious
/p = platonic
/r = romantic
/lh = lighthearted
/neg - /nc = negative connotation
/pos - /pc = positive connotation
/rh = rhetorical question
/gen = genuine question
/hyp = hyperbole
/c = copypasta
/q = quote
/lyric(s) or /ly = lyrics of a song
/f = fake
/th = threat
/li = literally
/nm = not mad or upset
/t = teasing
/nbh = nobody here (used in vague vents)
/cb = clickbait
/sx or /x = sexual intent
/nsx or /nx = non-sexual intent
/nay = not at you
/nst = not subtweeting
/m = metaphor / metaphorically
/neu = neutral / neutral connotation
indicators that are preferred to be used frequently ::
/j = joking
used after saying something in a joking manner
/hj = half joking
used after saying something that is kind of a joke but kind of serious
/s or /sarc = sarcastic / sarcasm
sarcasm refers to the use of words that mean the opposite of what you really want to say
/srs = serious
used when saying something you really mean
